Brigitte Bardot personal items sell for nearly €1m at Paris auction
An auction of 285 personal items belonging to French film star and animal rights activist Brigitte Bardot raised nearly €1m in Paris, according to auction house Millon. The sale included clothing, household objects, dog collars, guitars and self-portraits, with proceeds going to Bardot’s animal welfare foundation and her son.
Brigitte Bardot’s personal items sold for nearly €1m at an auction in Paris, almost 20 times the estimate, according to the auction house Millon.
The 285 objects included straw hats, sunglasses, nightgowns, tableware and furniture from Bardot’s homes in Paris and Saint-Tropez, Agence France-Presse reported. Dog collars, guitars and self-portraits were also among the items.
Money from the sale will go to Bardot’s animal welfare foundation and her son.
