Court hears NSW police officer asked friend about killing someone months before alleged murders
A Sydney court heard that New South Wales police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon asked a friend what they would do if he had killed someone, nine months before he allegedly murdered Jesse Baird and Luke Davies. Lamarre-Condon, 31, has pleaded not guilty. He later told the friend he had entered Baird’s home, stolen a Polaroid camera and eaten an Easter egg.
A Sydney court heard that New South Wales police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon asked a friend, “What would you do if I told you I killed somebody?” nine months before he allegedly murdered Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.
The court was told Lamarre-Condon then assured the friend that he had not killed anyone.
He also allegedly admitted entering Baird’s house while Baird was away, taking a Polaroid camera and eating an Easter egg.
Lamarre-Condon, 31, has pleaded not guilty to murdering Baird and Davies at a terrace in Paddington in early 2024.
