What Is a Hat-Trick in Cricket?
Three wickets in three balls can change a match instantly.
A hat-trick in cricket is achieved when a bowler dismisses batters with three consecutive deliveries. The wickets may happen across two overs or even across different innings in rare situations, as long as they are consecutive balls bowled by that bowler. Hat-tricks are rare because they require skill, pressure, and sometimes a little luck. When they happen, they often become one of the defining moments of a match.
